We are excited to welcome passionate individuals to join our team at Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) as Habitat Conservation Specialists. At VYCC, we believe in creating a supportive and collaborative work environment where every team member contributes to our mission of environmental preservation.
Job Description:
- Engage in habitat restoration projects throughout scenic Vermont
- Work closely with environmental experts to protect and enhance wildlife habitats
- Participate in educational programs to raise awareness about conservation efforts
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve project goals and promote a culture of teamwork
Qualifications:
- Passion for environmental conservation and habitat protection
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and a great team player
- Previous experience in habitat conservation is a plus
