Quitman County School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team and make a difference in the lives of students in Mississippi. We are currently looking for a Community Outreach Coordinator who will play a key role in fostering relationships with local farmers and businesses, promoting agricultural education, and enhancing our rural community.

Job Title: Community Outreach Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Engage with local farmers, agricultural businesses, and community members to promote agricultural education programs.
Organize events and workshops to enhance agricultural knowledge and skills among students and the community.
Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement hands-on agricultural learning opportunities.
Develop partnerships with local organizations to support agricultural initiatives within the school district.
Stay informed about trends and developments in the agricultural industry to provide relevant information and resources.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Education, or related field.
Prior experience in community outreach, event planning, or related roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for promoting agriculture and rural development.
