Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Creative Community Engagement Specialist focusing on promoting local art, cultural heritage, and community initiatives. This position involves collaborating with artists, cultural stakeholders, and community leaders to foster creativity, preserve traditions, and support sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to support local artists and cultural initiatives.
- Organize events, workshops, and projects that celebrate artistic expression and promote cultural diversity.
- Collaborate with local communities to identify opportunities for artistic growth and cultural preservation.
- Work closely with internal teams to align community initiatives with Safaricom's social responsibility goals.
- Support environmental sustainability efforts through creative campaigns and awareness programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Arts, Cultural Studies, or related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement, event planning, or cultural preservation projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for promoting cultural diversity.
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices is a plus.
