Are you passionate about the outdoors and conservation? Kenya Forest Service in Eastern Kenya is seeking talented individuals to join us as Wilderness Adventure Guides. In this role, you will immerse yourself in the diverse landscapes and natural beauty of Kenya's forests, leading and inspiring others to appreciate and protect these precious environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead groups on challenging wilderness expeditions through the Eastern region's forests
- Provide guidance on outdoor survival skills and safety measures
- Educate participants on the importance of forest conservation and sustainable practices
- Organize and coordinate adventurous activities promoting fitness and well-being in the outdoors
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outdoor leadership, navigating, and survival skills
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable living
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lead groups in challenging terrains
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
