Position: Community Engagement Specialist
Location: Washington, United States
Department: Operations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with Rover's mission and values
- Collaborate with local organizations and businesses to organize pet-friendly events and initiatives
- Plan and execute volunteer opportunities for Rover employees to give back to the community
- Enhance brand awareness and presence in the local community through strategic partnerships
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in community engagement or event planning
- Passion for animal welfare and promoting responsible pet ownership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with diverse community groups and stakeholders
