Position Available: Community Outreach Coordinator
As the Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a key role in engaging with local communities, connecting with farmers, and promoting awareness of our rich agricultural history. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with diverse stakeholders and make a meaningful impact on the preservation of our rural traditions.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate community events that celebrate our agricultural heritage
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local farmers and agricultural organizations
- Create educational programs to engage the public in the history of agriculture in Nebraska
- Collaborate with team members to support the mission of the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in the agricultural and rural way of life
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
