Ockelbo Ryttarförening in Gävleborgs län is seeking a passionate individual to fill the role of Equine Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the well-being and care of our beloved equine companions, ensuring they are healthy, happy, and thriving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional daily care for our horses, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health.
- Develop and implement tailored nutrition and exercise programs for each horse to support their individual needs.
- Monitor and assess the well-being of the horses, identifying and addressing any health issues promptly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment in the stables and surrounding areas.
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians and farriers to ensure the horses receive the best possible care.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with horses and a strong passion for equine care.
- Excellent knowledge of equine health, nutrition, and behavior.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards animals.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of working in a stable environment.
