Join Our Team as a Craftsmanship Preservation Manager
Toulon Provence Mediterranean Regional Sustainable Tourism Institute is seeking a proactive and visionary individual to take on the exciting role of Craftsmanship Preservation Manager. In this unique position, you will be responsible for overseeing the conservation and promotion of traditional crafts within the vibrant Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to safeguard and revitalize local manufacturing heritage
- Collaborate with artisans, local businesses, and stakeholders to support sustainable production practices
- Organize workshops, events, and initiatives to raise awareness about traditional craftsmanship
- Conduct research on traditional manufacturing techniques and materials
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of preservation efforts on the community and economy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Cultural Heritage Management, or related field
- Proven experience in project management and community engagement
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and local artisanal traditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for sustainability and cultural preservation
