Nebraska Department of Administrative Services: Conservation Management Specialist
Are you passionate about wildlife preservation and environmental sustainability? Nebraska Department of Administrative Services is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Conservation Management Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to promote the welfare of our natural habitats and the diverse species within them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and monitoring the ecological balance in designated wildlife reserves
- Developing initiatives to protect and enhance biodiversity
- Collaborating with local communities to promote environmental awareness and conservation efforts
- Implementing measures to mitigate the impact of human activities on wildlife habitats
- Evaluating and recommending policies for sustainable ecological practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- Experience in wildlife conservation or environmental management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to wildlife protection
