Alpe Adria Adventure Lodges, nestled in the heart of the picturesque region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy, is on a mission to protect and celebrate our natural surroundings. We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team and contribute to our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement initiatives to minimize our ecological footprint
- Research and recommend best practices for sustainable tourism and environmental conservation
- Collaborate with local conservation organizations to support wildlife protection efforts
- Educate staff and guests on the importance of environmental conservation
- Monitor and analyze environmental impact assessments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, or a related field
- Proven experience in environmental conservation or sustainability
- Strong understanding of local flora and fauna in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for environmental advocacy and conservation
