We are seeking a passionate and innovative individual to join our team as the Visitor Experience Curator at the Missouri History Museum. As the Visitor Experience Curator, you will play a pivotal role in connecting visitors to the rich history and culture of Missouri through engaging and interactive exhibits and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design compelling exhibits and displays that educate and inspire visitors
- Create interactive experiences that enhance visitor engagement and understanding of Missouri's history
- Collaborate with various teams to coordinate events and programs that enrich the visitor experience
- Research and stay informed about current trends in the museum field to ensure a fresh and dynamic visitor experience
- Contribute to the overall mission of preserving and promoting Missouri's diverse history and heritage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in History, Museum Studies, or related field
- Prior experience in museum curation, exhibit design, or historical interpretation preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for Missouri history and culture
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
