Position: Change Advocate and Compliance Associate

Location: KwaZulu-Natal

Job Description:

Champion transformative change for the marginalized through legal advocacy and compliance initiatives.
Strategically engage with external legal entities, advocating for the rights and protection of vulnerable individuals as mandated by South African laws and policies.
Lead compliance efforts to ensure adherence to legal standards, collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices.
Conduct research, analyze data, and provide legal consultations on pertinent matters affecting the shelter and its beneficiaries.
Contribute to policy development, emphasizing human rights and gender equality.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law or related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in legal advocacy, compliance, or related fields.
Proven track record in effecting positive change within legal systems.
Strong understanding of South African legal intricacies and a passion for social justice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
