We are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our vibrant team at the Municipality of Vlaardingen! If you are passionate about fostering community connections and promoting a sense of togetherness, this is the role for you.

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that enhance collaboration between local residents and the municipality. Working in a friendly and inclusive environment, you will have the opportunity to shape events, programs, and outreach efforts to strengthen community bonds.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and oversee community events and activities to encourage participation and cohesion
Facilitate communication between the municipality and community groups to address concerns and foster understanding
Collaborate with various departments to promote community-based services and resources
Contribute to the development of engagement strategies and initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field
Previous experience in community outreach or engagement
Effective communication and networking skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented and proactive manner
