We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for the position of Environmental Compliance Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all environmental regulations and standards are met
- Conducting regular inspections and assessments to monitor compliance
- Developing and implementing environmental management plans
- Collaborating with other departments to integrate environmental considerations into operations
- Providing training and guidance on environmental best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Experience in environmental compliance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
