Position: Sustainable Development Specialist

Location: Pohjois-Savo, Finland

Responsibilities

Research, develop, and implement initiatives that promote the sustainable growth of rural communities
Collaborate with local farmers, businesses, and government to develop environmentally friendly strategies
Drive the creation and execution of programs that support and enhance the agricultural infrastructure
Evaluate and propose eco-friendly financial products and services
Monitor and report on the impact of our sustainability efforts
Participate in community outreach and education programs to highlight our commitment to rural sustainability

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Agricultural Economics, or related field
Demonstrated experience in sustainable development or environmental project management
Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and rural community dynamics
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable business practices
Ability to work independently and within a team, driving initiatives forward with enthusiasm
