We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join the Ragusa Youth Environmental Advocacy Group as a Cultural Travel Coordinator! As part of our mission to foster cross-cultural connections and environmental awareness, we are seeking a passionate individual to take on this pivotal role.
Role Overview:
- Design and implement culturally immersive travel experiences for diverse groups of visitors to Sicily.
- Collaborate with local communities to promote sustainable tourism practices and support environmental initiatives.
- Create engaging itineraries that showcase the rich heritage, art, and cuisine of Sicily while highlighting conservation efforts.
- Facilitate meaningful exchanges between travelers and locals to promote understanding and appreciation of different cultures.
Qualifications:
- Passion for cultural exchange, sustainability, and environmental conservation.
- Experience in event planning, tourism, hospitality, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
