We are excited to announce an opportunity to join Borgarfjordur Community Nature Conservation as a Natural Experience Specialist. If you are passionate about the beauty of Iceland's Eastern Region and eager to create unforgettable experiences for visitors, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement unique nature-based experiences for tourists
- Guide visitors on hiking trails, birdwatching excursions, and wildlife encounters
- Educate guests on the natural history and conservation efforts in the region
- Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to promote sustainable tourism practices
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Eastern Region's natural attractions and ecosystems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for environmental conservation and ecotourism
- Experience in guiding or outdoor education is a plus
