We are seeking a dedicated Animal Welfare Specialist to join our team at Austurland Community Book Club in the scenic Eastern Region of Iceland.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual passionate about animal welfare to join us as an Animal Welfare Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and well-being of the animal characters featured in our books and promoting awareness of animal welfare issues through our community events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on animal welfare topics in literature
- Organize and lead animal welfare workshops and events
- Collaborate with local animal welfare organizations
- Contribute to the development of educational materials related to animal care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Prior experience in animal welfare advocacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting animal welfare and community engagement
