We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Innovation Specialist to join our team at Vesturland Hospitality Group in Iceland's Western Region. As a Production Innovation Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving change and progress within our organization. Your role will focus on implementing new methods and technologies to elevate our manufacturing processes, contributing to the enhancement of our product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline production processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and integrate advanced manufacturing technologies
Oversee the evaluation and adoption of new equipment and tools to enhance manufacturing capabilities
Conduct analysis and recommend improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to drive continuous innovation within the production line
Lead projects aimed at improving overall product quality and consistency
Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams
Develop and maintain documentation for new processes and technologies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, demonstrating a track record of implementing successful process improvements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in project management and change management
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
