Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Music Research Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis related to music, musicians, and musical trends. You will work closely with our artistic and administrative teams to provide insights that will contribute to the strategic direction and development of our orchestra.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting comprehensive research on musical repertoire, composers, and historical musical trends
Analyzing and interpreting data related to audience preferences and concert attendance
Collaborating with our artistic team to identify innovative programming opportunities
Contributing to the development of educational programs and outreach initiatives
Preparing reports and presentations on findings and recommendations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Musicology, Arts Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and research skills
Passion for classical and contemporary music
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in music notation software and databases is a plus
