Nuance Communications is seeking a dynamic and proactive Rural Development Specialist to be a part of our growing team in Massachusetts. As a Rural Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing strategies to support agricultural and rural communities, fostering growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for rural development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural stakeholders, local communities, and government agencies.
- Design and execute programs aimed at promoting economic development and sustainability in rural areas.
- Evaluate and assess the impact of policies and initiatives on rural and agricultural communities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Agriculture, Rural Development, Economics).
- Proven experience in community engagement, project management, and stakeholder relations.
- Strong understanding of agricultural industry trends and challenges in rural areas.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
