We are excited to announce a unique opportunity to join Egilsstadir Community Garden in the Eastern Region of Iceland. We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join us as a Pet Care Specialist.
Position Overview:
As a Pet Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our beloved furry friends within our community garden. Your role will involve ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our animal companions while fostering a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily health checks and monitoring the overall wellness of the animals
- Designing and implementing engaging activities and exercise routines
- Assisting in maintaining a clean and hygienic living environment
- Offering companionship and building positive relationships with the animals
- Communicating effectively with pet owners and providing updates as necessary
Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals who possess a genuine love for animals and a strong sense of responsibility towards their well-being. The ideal candidate should have a background in veterinary care, animal behavior, or related fields. Experience in animal rescue or rehabilitation will be an added advantage.
