Position: Sustainability and Outreach Coordinator

Location: East Iceland (with opportunities for global engagement)

Role and Responsibilities

Develop and implement sustainability initiatives geared towards reducing environmental impact
Collaborate with local, national, and international organizations to promote sustainable practices within the brewing industry
Lead educational outreach efforts focused on sustainability and environmental awareness
Research and recommend eco-friendly strategies for packaging, sourcing, and distribution
Engage in community outreach programs to drive awareness of environmental initiatives
Evaluate and report on the brewery's sustainability performance and progress
Identify and pursue global partnership opportunities to support our sustainability mission
Stay informed about global sustainability developments and integrate best practices into our operations
Contribute to the development of sustainable business practices globally

Requirements

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
Proven experience in sustainability, environmental advocacy, or related outreach initiatives
Demonstrated ability to drive and manage sustainability projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable business practices
Willingness to engage in global initiatives and travel as needed.
