Palermo Community Gardening Cooperative is seeking a Sustainable Community Transportation Manager to join our team in Sicily, Italy. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement eco-friendly transportation strategies to support the community's needs
Coordinate the logistics of transporting garden produce to local markets and distribution points
Work with local partners to optimize transportation routes
Manage a team of transportation associates, providing direction and support
Ensure compliance with environmental and transportation regulations
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a greenhouse gas reduction program

Requirements:

Proven experience in transportation management or a related field
Understanding of sustainable transportation principles and best practices
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with diverse community stakeholders
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for transportation logistics
