Position Overview:

As a Recreation Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of recreational programs and initiatives within the Normandy region. Your responsibilities will include researching and identifying popular trends in outdoor activities, collaborating with local businesses and communities, and leading the creation of innovative recreational opportunities for the public.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research to identify current trends and demands in recreational activities.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance existing programs and create new initiatives.
Collaborate with local businesses and community leaders to expand recreational opportunities.
Lead the planning and execution of events and activities geared towards promoting active lifestyles.
Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and implementing recreational programs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain partnerships.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
