We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our diverse and inclusive team at Bakubung Platinum Mine in North West, South Africa. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Community Engagement Specialist.

As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships between our company and the local community. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies that promote effective communication, collaboration, and understanding.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
Plan and execute community engagement initiatives, including town hall meetings, workshops, and cultural events.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure community concerns and feedback are addressed.
Develop and implement programs that support community development and empowerment.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of community engagement efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in community engagement or a related role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and cultures.
Knowledge of local government structures and nonprofit organizations.
Passion for promoting inclusivity and social responsibility.
