Scenic Rim Regional Council is seeking a dedicated and innovative individual to join our team as a Regional Aeronautics Specialist.
As part of our vibrant organization, you will have the opportunity to spearhead initiatives focusing on air transport, flight operations, and related aerospace activities within the Queensland region. Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee regional aviation strategies and programs
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders and regulatory agencies
- Identify and recommend improvements to air transport infrastructure
- Provide expertise on aviation safety and compliance
- Evaluate and implement innovative aerospace technologies
- Lead and support projects to enhance regional aeronautical capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in aviation operations or aeronautical engineering
- Deep understanding of aviation regulations and industry best practices
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to drive change and innovation in the aviation sector
