We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our family at the Alaska Community Foundation. As a Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in fostering connections with our local community, promoting our charitable initiatives, and bolstering our commitment to positive social change.

About the role

Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders
Coordinate and execute outreach programs and events to raise awareness of ACF's mission
Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for community engagement and support
Craft compelling narratives and presentations to effectively communicate ACF's impact and value
Provide support in the planning and execution of fundraising and donor engagement activities
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of outreach activities and develop strategies for improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
Demonstrated experience in community engagement, relationship building, or outreach activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
A genuine passion for making a positive impact in local communities
Experience in project management and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
