The Louisiana Department of Health - Office of Aging and Adult Services - Region 23 is seeking a Sustainability Solutions Specialist to join our dedicated team. We are committed to fostering sustainability and addressing environmental challenges through the innovative use of technology.
As a Sustainability Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for leveraging technology to develop sustainable solutions for our aging and adult services. You will work closely with our community partners to integrate advanced software solutions that promote efficient resource management and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with program managers to identify areas for technological intervention that support sustainability initiatives.
- Design and implement software solutions aimed at improving resource allocation and reducing environmental impact.
- Evaluate existing systems to identify opportunities for enhancements that align with sustainability goals.
- Provide technical expertise to support data-driven decisions in promoting social and environmental responsibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in software development, database management, or system integration.
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental sustainability and its relationship to technology implementation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
