Highland Adventure Photography is excited to announce an opening for the position of Nature Research and Expedition Coordinator to join our passionate team in the heart of Iceland's Western Highlands. As a company deeply rooted in the exploration and documentation of the magnificent natural landscapes, we are seeking an individual who shares our enthusiasm for adventure and discovery. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking initiatives while working within a friendly, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research on the biodiversity, geology, and environmental factors within the Western Highlands.
Plan and coordinate field expeditions, working closely with our photography and expedition teams.
Analyze and interpret data obtained during expeditions, presenting findings in a comprehensive and accessible manner.
Establish and maintain relationships with local conservation organizations and academic institutions for collaborative projects.
Assist in developing eco-friendly and sustainable practices for our expeditions and operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or related fields.
Proven experience in field research, ideally in a remote or wilderness setting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for building partnerships and presenting findings.
Passion for nature conservation and a commitment to ethical and responsible exploration and research.
