We are seeking a professional for a unique opportunity within our institution to join as a Strategic Operations Coordinator

Are you an individual with a passion for historical preservation and a keen eye for detail? Do you have an interest in exploring the untold stories of our nation's past? If so, the Highland Cultural Heritage Museum is looking for a dedicated and proactive professional to join our team. By accepting this role, you will be at the forefront of experiencing and sharing our cultural heritage’s rich history in the heart of the Southern Highlands.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate logistical operations and strategic planning for the museum’s diverse exhibitions and events
Collaborate with the curatorial team to ensure the safekeeping and preservation of precious artifacts and documents
Develop and enforce security protocols to safeguard our cultural assets
Engage in community outreach to promote an understanding and appreciation of our nation’s heritage
Contribute to the development and implementation of educational initiatives aimed at interpreting the military and security-related history of the region

Requirements:

Proven experience in operational management or strategic coordination
Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when necessary
Understanding of the historical and cultural significance of military and security-related artifacts
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
