We are actively seeking an Inclusive Cultural Relations Coordinator to join our team in Nova Scotia!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote cultural diversity and inclusion within the manufacturing sector
  • Coordinate cultural awareness training and workshops for employees and management
  • Advise on best practices for accommodating diverse cultural perspectives and needs within manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with external organizations to support cultural initiatives and partnerships
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing cultural inclusivity in the workplace
  • Assist in the development of policies to cultivate a culturally sensitive and respectful environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Cultural Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives within a corporate or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of cultural dynamics and their relevance within the workplace
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to cultural diversity and inclusion
