Your Role:

As the Senior Sustainable Development Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing and implementing sustainable initiatives within the agricultural supply chain, focusing on practices that promote resource efficiency, environmental responsibility, and rural community development. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding stakeholders towards sustainable solutions, providing insights and driving best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for sustainable agricultural supply chain management
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate sustainable practices into existing agricultural logistics processes
Identify and analyze opportunities to enhance resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact
Enact initiatives that support rural community development and resilience
Advocate for sustainable practices through research, publications, and industry engagement
Evaluate and monitor the impact of sustainable strategies, providing regular reports and recommendations

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in sustainable development, supply chain management, or related fields
Demonstrated expertise in driving sustainable initiatives within the agricultural or rural sector
Proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement and project management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities for sustainable practices
Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills
Advanced degree in sustainability, environmental management, agriculture, or a related field
