Umbria Sustainable Fashion, a leading advocate for ethical and sustainable practices in the fashion industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Community Engagement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community outreach and engagement strategies.
Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to promote sustainable fashion initiatives.
Lead public awareness campaigns and events focused on sustainable practices.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local communities and governmental bodies.
Advocate for policy changes that promote sustainable and ethical fashion practices.
Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and industry meetings.
Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources related to sustainable fashion.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, sustainable development).
Proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or advocacy work.
Strong understanding of government and nonprofit organizations and their roles in promoting sustainability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for sustainable fashion and a commitment to driving positive change within the industry.
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in Italian and English.
