Exciting Opportunity: Wildlife Conservation and Community Engagement Coordinator
We are seeking a driven and passionate individual to join our team as a Wildlife Conservation and Community Engagement Coordinator. This unique position involves working closely with local wildlife and collaborating with the community in Ragusa, Sicily.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to preserve and protect the diverse wildlife in our region, while also engaging with local residents in educational programs and community outreach efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee wildlife conservation initiatives
- Facilitate partnerships with local organizations and authorities
- Organize and lead community educational events related to wildlife
- Engage in outreach activities to promote wildlife awareness
- Participate in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field
- Experience in wildlife conservation or related areas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and diverse environment
- Passion for community engagement and environmental education
