Mississippi Museum of Natural Science is looking for individuals who are passionate about discovery and engagement to join our team as Discovery Experience Specialists. As a Discovery Experience Specialist, you will have the opportunity to indulge your interest in nature, history, and science while fostering a dynamic and engaging environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience
Engage with visitors, providing them with insightful information about natural science and historical exhibits
Assist with sales and retail operations, promoting and selling museum merchandise
Contribute to the development and execution of interactive programs and events
Collaborate with the museum team to maintain an inviting and informative environment

Qualifications:

Passion for natural science, history, and environmental conservation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in customer service and/or public engagement preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Flexibility in working weekends and holidays as needed
