Position: Ecological Experience Coordinator

As an Ecological Experience Coordinator at Sappi Trading, you will be responsible for curating and overseeing nature-focused experiences that align with our commitment to environmental stewardship. You will play a pivotal role in providing guests with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Mpumalanga region.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage eco-friendly tourism experiences in collaboration with local conservation efforts
Coordinate educational excursions highlighting the significance of sustainable practices and ecosystem preservation
Ensure that all activities and programs adhere to environmentally responsible guidelines
Engage with local communities to promote ecotourism and ecological awareness
Work alongside environmental researchers to continually enhance our offerings with the latest insights and developments

Qualifications:

A passion for environmental conservation and sustainable tourism
Experience in coordinating or guiding nature-based experiences
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and environmental initiatives
Commitment to ethical and responsible tourism practices
Understanding of the ecological significance of the Mpumalanga region
Proficiency in relevant software applications for coordination and documentation
Fluency in English and at least one local language spoken in Mpumalanga
