Environmental Compliance Specialist

As an Environmental Compliance Specialist at Bell Laboratories, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations adhere to all relevant environmental regulations and standards. You will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting legal requirements, monitoring our environmental impact, and implementing strategies to minimize our ecological footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of our environmental practices and processes
Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental laws
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into our business practices
Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing sustainable initiatives
Providing guidance and training to employees on environmental compliance matters

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory affairs
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
