Overview:

We at the Town of Mint Hill are dedicated to preserving our town's natural beauty and promoting sustainable tourism. We are seeking an Outdoor Experience Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on creating and managing outdoor recreational activities that highlight the natural splendor of Mint Hill while ensuring minimal environmental impact.

Responsibilities:

Develop and organize guided nature walks, birdwatching tours, and ecological exploration events.
Collaborate with local businesses to promote eco-friendly lodging and dining options for visitors.
Create educational programs emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and responsible tourism.
Work alongside town officials to implement and maintain sustainable tourism practices.
Engage with the community to raise awareness about our town's natural heritage and the benefits of eco-friendly tourism.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in organizing outdoor recreational events or eco-tourism initiatives.
Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including local businesses and community organizations.
