Hebrew Union College Museum is seeking a meticulous and innovative Craftsmanship Coordinator to join our team in Jerusalem District, Israel. As a pivotal part of our mission to preserve and present Jewish art and culture, this role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for tradition, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the meticulous production and creation of artistic artifacts and cultural pieces
Develop and implement efficient processes to ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship
Collaborate with diverse teams to integrate cultural significance into manufacturing processes
Train and mentor artisans to maintain traditional techniques and enhance skills
Manage inventory and resource allocation to ensure seamless production

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art History, or related field
Proven experience in artisanal or craftsmanship roles, preferably within museum or cultural institutions
Demonstrated understanding of traditional Jewish art and cultural practices
Strong organizational and leadership skills with a dynamic problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Fluency in Hebrew and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
