We are looking for passionate individuals to join the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services in our mission to promote environmental sustainability and social responsibility. We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Environmental Responsibility Advocate.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving initiatives to promote sustainability, raise awareness about environmental issues, and engage with communities to foster a culture of environmental consciousness. As an Environmental Responsibility Advocate, you will play a key role in developing strategies to integrate environmentally responsible practices across our programs and services. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our communities and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to promote eco-friendly practices within the organization
Engage with various stakeholders to advocate for sustainable and environmentally responsible initiatives
Create and manage educational campaigns about environmental awareness and social responsibility
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate environmental sustainability into departmental programs
Monitor and assess the environmental impact of departmental activities

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in environmental advocacy, community engagement, and project management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to drive meaningful change within our organization and community.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Public Health, Sociology, Communications, or related field
Demonstrated experience in advocating for environmental sustainability and social responsibility
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
