We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to be part of our dynamic team at Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie (BSH) - Dienststelle Hamburg.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide legal guidance on maritime regulations and international laws.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the maritime industry.
- Review and update company policies and procedures to align with current legal requirements.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Maritime Studies, or related field.
- Proven professional experience in regulatory compliance within the maritime or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime and environmental laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
