We Are Hiring
We are currently seeking a dedicated Animal Wellness Specialist to join our compassionate team. As an Animal Wellness Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, happiness, and overall well-being of the delightful beings under our care. Your expertise will contribute directly to the improved quality of life for our cherished companions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular health assessments and develop customized wellness plans for each animal.
- Provide nurturing and compassionate care to animals in need.
- Collaborate with our veterinary partners to ensure timely medical intervention when necessary.
- Implement and oversee enrichment programs to promote mental and physical stimulation for animals under our care.
- Contribute to the development of educational materials and workshops for the community, promoting responsible pet ownership.
Requirements
- Passionate about animal welfare with a strong understanding of animal behavior and well-being.
- Proven experience in animal care, preferably in a shelter or rescue environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with fellow team members, volunteers, and community members.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and sometimes emotionally challenging environment.
- Relevant qualifications in animal science, veterinary nursing, or a related field are highly desirable.
