Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Sustainability Initiatives Manager.
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices, we are looking for an innovative and passionate professional to drive our sustainability programs within our franchise operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies to minimize environmental impact, reduce waste, and promote sustainable sourcing within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of sustainability initiatives across our franchise network
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improved environmental performance
- Implement strategies to reduce carbon footprint and energy consumption
- Oversee the sourcing and implementation of eco-friendly packaging solutions
- Engage with external partners and industry stakeholders to drive sustainable practices throughout the value chain
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Sustainability, or related field
- Proven experience in developing and managing sustainability programs
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental best practices and regulations
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Passionate advocate for environmental conservation and sustainability
