Arctic Scientific Research Institute is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as an Innovation Curriculum Designer. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in shaping the educational landscape of the Western Region in Iceland.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop innovative and engaging educational curricula that promote exploration, discovery, and critical thinking.
Create dynamic learning experiences for students of all ages, fostering a love for learning and a deep appreciation for science and research.
Collaborate with educators, researchers, and industry professionals to integrate cutting-edge scientific developments into the curriculum.
Implement new approaches and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of educational programs.
Evaluate and adapt curricular materials to meet the changing needs of students and the demands of a rapidly evolving world.
Contribute to the institute's mission of advancing scientific literacy and instilling a passion for inquiry and discovery.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, with a strong focus on curriculum design, instructional design, or a related area.
Demonstrated experience in developing innovative educational materials and programs.
Proven ability to incorporate interdisciplinary approaches into curriculum design and delivery.
Passion for fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and scientific exploration among students and educators alike.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Understanding of the latest trends and advancements in educational technology and their potential impact on curriculum design.
Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Icelandic is a plus.
