Gallery Operations Manager
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Gallery Operations Manager at The Van Every/Smith Galleries. As a Gallery Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of our art gallery, ensuring a welcoming and vibrant experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate gallery events, exhibitions, and art installations
- Oversee inventory management, artwork shipping, and receiving
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote gallery events and art collections
- Supervise and train gallery staff to maintain a supportive and productive work environment
- Ensure exceptional customer service for gallery visitors and clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the visual arts industry, ideally within a gallery setting
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for art and a customer-focused mindset
