We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator at Harrison County YMCA. As a community-oriented organization, we are dedicated to promoting social responsibility and environmental stewardship in everything we do.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our educational initiatives, training programs, and professional development opportunities. As a vital part of our team, you will play a key role in cultivating an environment that nurtures learning and personal growth for our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies
- Coordinate educational outreach programs for various age groups
- Collaborate with local schools and organizations to promote social responsibility and environmental awareness
- Organize and lead educational workshops and training sessions for staff members
- Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Environmental Studies, Sociology, or related areas)
- Demonstrated passion for community engagement and social responsibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
