Cyber Security Analyst – Protecting Hawaii's Digital Frontiers

Do you want to defend Hawaii's digital frontiers and play a vital role in protecting our state's information systems? Hawaii National Guard is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems within the rapidly evolving digital landscape. In this role, you will collaborate with various government and military agencies to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing security measures to safeguard computer networks and systems
- Conducting regular security assessments and responding to security incidents
- Monitoring and analyzing security systems to detect potential vulnerabilities and threats
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on security-related matters
- Contributing to the development of incident response plans and cyber security policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in cyber security or related fields
- Familiarity with network security technologies and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
