We are looking for a Wildlife Conservation Operations Manager to join our team at the Kenya Wildlife Service in Eastern Kenya!

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the logistics and transportation operations for wildlife conservation initiatives.
- Ensure efficient coordination of resources for wildlife protection and habitat management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational processes and maximize conservation outcomes.
- Lead a dedicated team to execute operational tasks effectively and safely.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth transportation of wildlife resources and personnel.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying improvements and addressing challenges proactively.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices in wildlife transportation and logistical operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in operations and logistics management, preferably in a conservation or related field.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of wildlife conservation principles and a commitment to conservation efforts.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.
