Senior Sustainable Development Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Sustainable Development Specialist to join our team at Landesmuseum Burgenland. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sustainable initiatives in the areas of renewable resources, conservation, and environmental impact reduction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with our commitment to sustainability.

Responsibilities:

Identify and assess opportunities for sustainable energy and environmental initiatives
Lead the design and execution of projects related to ecological preservation and resource efficiency
Advise on best practices for reducing environmental impact within the organization and our community
Develop and monitor metrics to track the effectiveness of sustainability programs
Engage in stakeholder management and partnership building with external organizations and governmental bodies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Proven track record in developing and implementing sustainable energy and environmental projects
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and environmental conservation practices
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to think strategically and innovate in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with diverse stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives
